India is contributing in the global fight against Ebola. Governmentof India has provided, by way of medical supplies, US dollar 50,000 eachto Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. India has also given a cashcontribution of US dollar 500,000 to the World Health Organization(WHO) in connection with their efforts to mitigate the Ebola virusdisease. India will also provide an Assistance of US dollar 2 million in theform of supply of protective gears. In addition, on 25th September,2014, the Government of India announced a contribution of US dollar 10million to the newly set up UN Trust fund for Ebola.
