A short Abstract of Gandhi Katha
Gandhi Katha narrates the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, his ethical leadership, moral and spiritual life, his unique practices of wellness of body, mind and soul and the environmental credo. These are universal, eternal and transcend time, space and geographical boundaries. Gandhi Katha draws from the timeless wisdom and the sublime truths of the Upanishad and presents them as a practical technique of living becoming a source of inspiration to generations of people seeking perfection. With its help, people have achieved excellence in every field of endeavour. Gandhi Katha enables people to put their hearts into understanding Mahatma Gandhi and get inspired. Gandhi Katha attempts to provide some principles, ideas and alternatives that can help us in our personal quest for greater substance in life; addresses the pressing challenges of our times and provides lessons for personal growth and transformation. It also gives an insight about Mahatma Gandhi's views relevant to the contemporary world and his continuing legacy. The Katha also narrates the learning from Mahatma Gandhi's practices of wellness of body, mind & spirit for coping up & staying safe physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually during the COVID-19 Pandemic. A short Biograhpy of Dr Shobhana Radhakrishna
Dr Shobhana Radhakrishna is an acclaimed international speaker on the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. She is the founder of the SCOPE Gandhian Forum for Ethical Corporate Governance in India. She has chalked out a different way of spreading Gandhian ideology by holding Gandhi Katha (a narrative of Gandhi's life) based on the popularity of the Indian oral tradition in different parts of the country and abroad. Brought up in Mahatma Gandhi Sewagram Ashram in Wardha, Radhakrishna has cultivated a strong ideological connect with Gandhi's ideals since childhood. She has established many organizations to work for Sarvodaya, Gramswaraj and constructive programs inspired by the vision of Mahatma Gandhi. As a part of the 150th Birth anniversary celebrations, she has delivered 158 lectures and Gandhi talks on Mahatma Gandhi in 52 Countries organised by the respective Indian Missions.
