An employment visa may be applied for by skilled and qualified foreign professionals or persons who are engaged or appointed on contract or employment basis at a senior level, skilled position such as technical expert, senior executive, or in a managerial position by companies, organisations, economic undertakings as technicians, technical experts, senior executives etc.

Applicants may apply at: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in and complete the application online after carefully going through the instructions listed on the web page.
Take a print out of the duly filled online form and submit a signed copy.
Passport (with minimum 6 months validity and two blank pages) and photocopy.
Yellow fever certificate (original and photocopy)
NRC/Residency Permit (original and photocopy)
Two recent Passport size photographs. (see ‘Photograph Guidelines’).
Proof of contract/employment/engagement for the company in which they will be working. (original and photocopy)
Educational and professional certificates (original and photocopy).
