"In fulfillment of announcement of donation of medicines/medical equipment worth US $ 3 million made during the State visit of Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Hon'ble President of the Republic of India to Republic of Zambia from 10-12 April 2018, the first tranche of medicines worth US $ 2 million was handed over by Shri N.J. Gangte, High Commissioner of India, on behalf of the Government and the people of India, to Mr. Chitalu Chilufya, Hon'ble Minister of Health, Government of the Republic of Zambia at a handing over ceremony, which took place at the premises of Ministry of Health today."
